Boho chic

As a long dedicated fan of skinny jeans I rarely tried anything which didn't fall under this category, simply because I didn't think anything else would suit me as nicely. I only got my first boyfriend jeans about a year and a half ago and it took me more than a few tries till I managed to style them to my liking. This started a chain reaction, an incessant shopping spree where I was trying to get my hands on everything but skinny jeans. I think this is probably when I developed my insane space-making skills, very useful if you're always faced with a wardrobe that's over-capacity.

What I found most irresistible in the previous H&M collab with ma chère Isabel was the beautiful selection of bottoms, from mono to printed and from leather to cargo. These printed cargo pants were the first item I put in my basket and one of my favourite purchases, as they helped me attempt one of my first boho-ish looks. I matched them with a draped crossover SS14 Helmut Lang top in light grey and a leather biker jacket for a walk around my favourite city :)

  2. Athina I've been following and loving your blog for a while but have always been bad at commenting - I'm trying to change that this year!! As a fellow redhead I always love to see what goes with you hair... all these shades of black, white and grey look so beautiful together and I absolutely LOVE those jeans!!!!! It's all beautifully put together, and I must tell you you're my hair guru too :)

Hope you have a great year this year!

    1. Catherine,
thank you very much for your beautiful comment! Unfortunately, I'm also bad at commenting/replying: I get easily distracted, leave things for later and then forget to come around! I remember before I turned red that I was worried how different colour clothes would look on me, and I have to say grey is the perfect fit, but I'm sure you feel it too that we can work with anything ;) Hope to see you around again, much love :*

  6. Girl, me too, it took me awhile to get used to boyfriend jeans but I forced to do it cause I felt like I was limiting my clothing range options with just black skinny jeans! haha skinny jeans will always be a staple but it's nice to try some prints and baggy things once in a while :)
